Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of nail treatments including classic manicures, pedicures, gel nails, acrylics, and intricate nail art designs.
• Apply advanced techniques such as nail extensions, gel polish application, and nail repairs with precision and care.
• Maintain strict sanitation standards by sterilizing tools and adhering to health regulations to ensure client safety.
• Consult with clients to understand their preferences, recommend suitable nail designs or treatments, and educate on proper nail care routines.
• Upsell additional services such as eyelash extensions, body waxing, or esthetic laser treatments to enhance client experience and salon revenue.
• Stay current with industry trends in color theory, new techniques, and product innovations to continually improve service quality.
• Foster excellent communication skills to build rapport with clients and ensure their needs are met with enthusiasm and professionalism.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a professional nail technician with a strong portfolio of work showcasing diverse skills in nail care and artistry.
• Certification in cosmetology or esthetician licensing as required by local regulations.
• Knowledge of sanitation protocols and best practices for maintaining a hygienic workspace.
• Familiarity with additional beauty services such as hair styling, hair extensions, barbering, dermabrasion, or eyelash extensions is a plus.
• Strong understanding of color theory for creating visually appealing designs.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and upsell services confidently.
