America World Adoption Association, an evangelical Christian non-profit international adoption agency, is seeking an program/office asst. to work in our McLean, Virginia office a part-time or full-time basis. This is an in-office, on-site position and will be Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities may include:

  • Manage office documentation by sorting, scanning, printing, mailing, and archiving sensitive corporate and adoption records.
  • Welcome and direct office visitors professionally.
  • Filter incoming calls to address general inquiries and route communications effectively.
  • Coordinate outbound shipping logistics utilizing major carriers including FedEx, UPS, and USPS.
  • Provide cross-departmental support to Programs teams as needed.

The qualified candidate is a committed believer in Jesus Christ as revealed in the Bible, has dynamic skills to communicate with prospective families the blessing of adoption, is thorough and complete in dealing with all issues and problems, is a self-starter and able to follow through on tasks, has excellent verbal/written communication skills, and has basic computer skills (MS Word, Excel, Outlook). A candidate must have reliable transportation and be willing to drive to McLean and work in the office.

Office administration and project management experience required. Familiarity with adoption a plus. Strong skills in MS Office, organization, project management and coordination, and general administration.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.50 - $18.00 per hour
