Program Assistant/Case Manager

Vehicles For Change, Salisbury, MD is looking to fill the position of Program Assistant. This role consists of managing the administrative functions of recruitment, training, paper filing and computer data entry, and access to wrap-around services. We are looking for a motivated, think outside the box individual who sees the mission as POSSIBLE! The ideal candidate should possess time management, organizational, communication and computer skills.

Resposibilities:

• Assist Director with day to day responsibilities
• Conduct phone assessments and schedule tours with potential interns
• Develop and maintain community partnerships
• Facilitate in-house events / Facilitate outreach presentations and events

Qualifications:

• At least 2 years of administrative experience in human services/social work or corrections or AA degree in related field.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast paced and sometimes unpredictable environment
• Exceptionally high integrity
• Committed to diversity, mission and equity

Experience:

• Administrative/Data Management: 2 years (REQUIRED)
• MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Access, and PowerPoint
• Working with diverse people, individuals with a criminal background is a plus
