Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Spanish-speaking Promotora de Salud (Community Health Worker) to serve as a vital link between our program and its local and international participants. Under direct supervision, you will assist in coordinating presentations, generating flyers (using Canva) for events from our local and international groups, and managing the program's FB social media publishing events and their outcomes (photos, videos, etc.). You will need to engage with the program’s mission and vision and occasionally travel abroad to assist with the event’s organization and implementation, as well as conferences, coalitions, and collaborative meetings. Using WhatsApp, you will coordinate and work with program leaders in MX, Peru, and the USA. Salary DOE

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support for program planning, scheduling, and coordination of workforce development activities.
  • Assist with outreach efforts to engage community members, clients, and stakeholders in program participation.
  • Support case management processes by helping collect client information, track progress, and facilitate communication between clients and service providers.
  • Help organize and conduct the program's related workshop sessions.
  • Maintain accurate records of program activities, participant attendance, and service delivery using designated data management systems.
  • Collaborate with local and international team members to develop resource materials and informational campaigns that promote social work best practices.
  • Respond promptly to participant inquiries and provide guidance on available services related to crisis management and behavioral health support.

Experience

  • Good understanding of the Microsoft Office suite, Teams, Excel, and Outlook, and be tech-savvy enough to navigate the internet to submit reports and other documentation online, and know Canva.
  • Experience working in a very fast-paced environment and being able to manage groups.
  • Ability to work effectively with individuals with disabilities or complex health needs.
  • Strong understanding of crisis management principles to effectively support individuals in distress.
  • Experience in data collection, documentation, and maintaining confidentiality in compliance with privacy standards.
  • Effective communication skills to engage diverse populations empathetically and professionally.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and educate diverse populations through public speaking or teaching.
  • Fluent in Spanish with excellent verbal communication skills; proficiency in English.

Pay: $21.00 - $24.00 per hour
