Program Coordinator/Clinical Supervisor

JOB SUMMARY:

Help Group is seeking a dynamic and mission-driven Program Coordinator/Clinical Supervisor to oversee the Intensive Day Treatment (DTI) Program serving Transition Age Youth (TAY) and adults. In alignment with Help Group’s commitment to empowering individuals to reach their full potential, this role provides leadership in delivering comprehensive, strengths-based, and recovery-oriented mental health services.

The Program Coordinator/Clinical Supervisor is responsible for the clinical and administrative oversight of all program operations, ensuring high-quality, culturally responsive care that supports independence, community integration, and overall wellness for individuals with mental health and social-emotional challenges.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or Marriage and Family Therapy.
  • Licensure (LCSW, LMFT, or LPCC) required.
  • Ability to provide clinical supervision (2 years post-licensure) to unlicensed clinicians
  • Minimum of 2 years of direct service experience with TAY and/or adult populations in a mental health or social services setting.
  • Minimum of 2 years of supervisory or program management experience.
  • Strong knowledge of recovery-oriented systems of care, trauma-informed practices, and community-based services.
  • Experience with electronic health records and documentation compliance.
  • Valid California driver’s license and reliable transportation.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Program Leadership & Administration

  • Oversee all aspects of the Intensive Day Treatment Program in accordance with contract requirements and Help Group policies and procedures.
  • Ensure program compliance with county, state, and agency regulations, including documentation, billing, and reporting standards.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor program policies, procedures, and workflows to support effective service delivery and outcomes.
  • Maintain program readiness for audits and reviews.

Clinical & Service Oversight

  • Provide weekly individual and group clinical supervision to unlicensed clinicians
  • Ensure delivery of trauma-informed, strengths-based, and recovery-oriented services for TAY and adult clients.
  • Oversee client care including assessment, service planning, case coordination, and discharge planning.
  • Support interventions focused on independent living skills, emotional regulation, vocational readiness, and community integration.
  • Ensure appropriate utilization of evidence-informed practices tailored to TAY and adult populations.

Staff Supervision & Development

  • Supervise multidisciplinary staff, including clinicians, case managers, and support staff.
  • Participate in recruitment, hiring, onboarding, and performance evaluations.
  • Provide ongoing coaching, training, and professional development opportunities.
  • Facilitate regular team meetings and case conferences to ensure quality care and collaboration.

Collaboration & Community Engagement

  • Coordinate services with internal programs and external partners, including mental health providers, educational institutions, vocational programs, housing resources, and healthcare providers.
  • Foster strong partnerships to support continuity of care and client success.
  • Represent The Help Group in community meetings and stakeholder collaborations as needed.

Quality Assurance & Data Management

  • Oversee data collection, documentation, and reporting to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Monitor program outcomes and implement quality improvement initiatives.
  • Utilize electronic health record systems to track services, outcomes, and performance metrics.

The salary range represents the low and high end of the salary someone in this role may earn as an employee of Help Group. Salaries will vary based on various factors, including but not limited to, professional and academic experience, certification, training, responsibilities of the position, and other business and organizational needs. The range listed is just one component of our total compensation package for employees. Salary decisions are dependent on the circumstances of each hire.
