Position Title: Program Director

Job Type: Full-Time

Salary: 50k -60k

Location: Black Belt America – Madison, WI

Black Belt America is seeking a full-time Program Director for our growing and dynamic martial arts school. We’re looking for someone who is detail-oriented, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and enjoys working with both people and processes.

This role requires strong communication and leadership skills, along with the ability to support staff, manage operations, and ensure a positive experience for students and families.

Education:

Minimum high school diploma or equivalent required

Required Qualifications:

• Ability to recruit new students
• Flexible, adaptable, and able to manage multiple priorities
• Strong communication skills (phone, email, and in-person)
• Comfortable making and receiving a high volume of calls
• Professional phone etiquette
• Ability to work with a diverse, multi-age population including staff, students, and families
• Demonstrated follow-through and commitment to excellent customer service
• Comfortable using technology for scheduling, record-keeping, and communications
• Spanish-speaking is a plus (not required)

Duties Include but Are Not Limited To:

• Recruit and retain new students
• Troubleshoot operational challenges
• Provide customer data to senior staff for strategic use
• Prepare for and implement special events
• Provide ongoing coaching and training
• Direct supervision of the Program Assistant, Front Counter Assistant, Martial Arts Admin, and Martial Arts Customer Experience Specialist

Schedule:

Monday and Wednesday: 12:15 PM – 8:00 PM

Tuesday and Thursday: 12:30 PM – 8:30 PM

Saturday: 9:45 AM – 1:00 PM
