MISSION STATEMENT: Fairview Recovery Services, Inc. provides a therapeutic environment that assists individuals with substance use disorder with living independent, healthy, and productive lives by providing a continuum of individualized care and services through patient centered treatment planning by our dedicated staff.

DISTINGUISHING FEATURES OF THE POSITION: This position requires strong supervisory abilities and expertise in case management, client advocacy, and community networking. The incumbent serves as a leader within the Program and works under the clinical and administrative supervision of the Clinical Director. Considerable independence is afforded for the exercise of sound judgment and discretion in implementing established policies and procedures. The Program Director performs additional related duties as assigned.
TYPICAL WORK ACTIVITIES: (Illustrative only)
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES: 1) Thorough knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations pertinent to the operation of the program.
2) Thorough knowledge of the components of the comprehensive treatment/service needs of the program’s patients.
3) Thorough knowledge of the resources available in the community to serve patients.
4) Knowledge of the principles and practices of clinical and general supervision.
5) Ability to plan, organize, and evaluate program services and staff.
6) Ability to communicate effectively.
7) Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with professionals, community groups, and government officials.
8) Ability to prepare comprehensive written proposals and reports on programmatic, budget, regulatory, legal, and other management functions.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Must be certified with a Qualified Health Care Provider (QHP) credential (CASAC A, LMSW, CRC, RN, etc) AND Certified OASAS Clinical Supervisor.
A. Graduation from a regionally accredited or N.Y. State registered four (4) year college or university with a bachelor’s degree (or master's degree) in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling or related field and five (5) years of experience in a chemical dependency/SUD program; AND certified as an Advanced CASAC or other QHP, with a certification in OASAS Clinical Supervision.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license with less than three (3) points and a good driving record.
Pay: $56,000.00 - $58,000.00 per year
