Program Director – SAT Prep & After-School Academic ProgramsNYC Global Center – Manhattan, NY & Fort Lee, NJ
NYC Global Center is seeking an experienced and motivated Program Director to lead the development and operations of our new SAT Prep and After-School Academic Programs division in Manhattan and Fort Lee, New Jersey.
We are expanding beyond ESL education into academic pathway and college readiness programs for middle school, high school, and international students, including:
- SAT/ACT Preparation
- Academic English
- After-School Programs
- Summer Academic Camps
- College Readiness & Admissions Support
- Ivy League & Top University Preparation Pathways
The ideal candidate will have prior experience operating academic programs and managing educational teams, including marketing, hiring teachers/staff, student recruitment, and daily program operations.
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage SAT prep and after-school academic programs
- Recruit, train, and supervise instructors and administrative staff
- Coordinate curriculum, schedules, and student services
- Lead marketing and student recruitment efforts
- Build relationships with students, parents, schools, and educational partners
- Oversee daily operations and maintain program quality
- Assist with strategic growth and expansion in NYC and New Jersey
- Monitor student satisfaction and academic outcomes
Qualifications
- Prior experience managing SAT prep, tutoring, after-school, or academic enrichment programs
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Experience with educational marketing and enrollment growth
- Ability to manage teachers and office staff effectively
- Familiarity with college admissions or academic pathway programs preferred
- Experience working with international students is a plus
- Chinese or Korean bilingual ability is strongly preferred, but not mandatory
- Multilingual abilities are preferred

Pay: $52,400.02 - $63,105.39 per year
