An infant toddler/preschool teacher creates a safe and nurturing environment by implementing a developmentally appropriate curriculum, supervising children, and communicating with parents.
A child care supervisor oversees the daily operations of a facility, manages staff, ensures compliance with regulations, handles administrative tasks, and serves as the main point of contact for parents.

· Curriculum and Instruction: Plan and implement daily activities that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development.
· Child Supervision: Ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times, monitoring their needs as individuals and as a group.
· Environment: Create a stimulating, safe, and nurturing room environment that encourages exploration and learning.
· Parent Communication: Maintain open and consistent contact with parents, providing updates on their child's progress and addressing any concerns.
· Physical and Emotional Care: Provide direct care, including hygiene, feeding (sometimes preparing meals and snacks), and comfort, while fostering emotional growth.
· Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records on children's development, attendance, and any incidents.

· Staff Management: Supervise, guide, and mentor staff, and help with their professional development.
· Daily Operations: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the center, including preparing staff schedules and arranging for substitutes.
· Compliance and Safety: Ensure that all activities and facilities comply with state and federal regulations, policies, and safety standards.
· Parent and Community Relations: Serve as the main point of contact for parents, handle complaints, and facilitate regular communication.
· Administrative Tasks: Manage administrative duties such as record-keeping, budgeting, and ordering supplies and equipment.
· Facility Maintenance: Monitor and report any maintenance or repair needs for the facility to ensure a safe environment
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $21.50 - $31.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 per week
