The Joy Culture Foundation (TJCF) | Bay Area

The Joy Culture Foundation (TJCF) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to building a vibrant community through educational and cultural programs for families and children. Through classes, workshops, and community activities, we aim to create meaningful learning experiences that connect families with language, culture, and each other.

We are currently looking for a Program Lead to help coordinate and support our growing programs. This is a part-time role (10–20 hours per week) and a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with educators, families, and community-based programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate TJCF educational programs, workshops, and community activities
  • Work closely with teachers to support class scheduling and program implementation
  • Review lesson plans and proposed materials to ensure alignment with program goals
  • Track enrollment and attendance to support program planning
  • Collect and submit teachers’ working hours and reimbursement requests to the finance team
  • Serve as a contact point for parents and help gather feedback to improve program quality
  • Attend the first few sessions of new programs at the library to observe classes, support teachers, and ensure programs run smoothly.
  • Provide on-site support during key programs such as summer camps and new course launches.

  • Enjoys the flexibility of a part-time position

  • Is excited to help build engaging, high-quality programs that Mandarin-speaking families love
  • Has prior teaching experience or experience working with children in educational settings is a plus (e.g., tutoring, classroom teaching, enrichment programs)
  • Can speak/read/write in Mandarin

Location: Bay Area Menlo Park
  • Schedule: Part-time (10–20 hrs/week)
