Program Lead – Rizq Bachao

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Program Lead – Rizq Bachao, based in Lahore. The Program Lead Rizq Bachao is a food sustainability initiative focused on reducing food waste by procuring excess or near-expiry food products from FMCGs, restaurants, wedding halls, bakeries, catering services, and other stakeholders at discounted prices. These products are then sold in the market at competitive rates to maximize utilization and minimize waste, creating social, environmental, and economic impact. 


We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Program Lead to manage the end-to-end supply chain and sales cycle of the Rizq Bachao program This role covers sourcing, procurement, inventory oversight, pricing, sales, logistics, data tracking, and reporting. The ideal candidate is commercially aware, highly organized, and capable of managing multiple stakeholders.


Key Responsibilities


Supply Chain Management

  • Manage end-to-end procurement and distribution of surplus/near-expiry food products
  • Coordinate with vendors (FMCGs, restaurants, bakeries, caterers, etc.)
  • Ensure timely collection, storage, and market dispatch
  • Monitor stock levels, expiry timelines, and product quality


Sales & Revenue Management

  • Take ownership of selling sourced products at the best possible market prices
  • Identify and develop buyer networks (retailers, wholesalers, institutional buyers, etc.)
  • Set pricing strategies based on shelf life, demand, and market conditions
  • Ensure timely product liquidation to avoid expiries and losses
  • Track sales performance, margins, and revenue targets


Vendor & Partner Coordination

  • Build and maintain relationships with suppliers and buyers
  • Negotiate best possible procurement and selling rates
  • Onboard new vendors and market buyers


Data & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate records of procurement, sales, margins, and wastage
  • Develop periodic performance and impact reports
  • Track KPIs related to cost savings, waste reduction, and revenue generation


Operations Management

  • Oversee logistics and distribution planning
  • Ensure compliance with food safety standards
  • Continuously improve operational and commercial efficiency


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field
  • 2–4 years experience in supply chain, operations, or sales
  • Strong Excel/data management skills
  • Good negotiation and communication skills
  • Commercial mindset with revenue focus
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience in food/FMCG sector is a plus
