Program Manager, Environmental Assistance Program (EAP)Lab Packing
The Program Manager, EAPLab Packing is responsible for setting the strategy and executing the plan resulting in commercial growth and customer retention. The strategic plan, the fit selection of segments, services, and Arcwood's advantages will enable our growth goals. Working with the broader team to develop and manage the Environmental Assistance Program and lab packing services will ensure our Product Service Offering is a key differentiator for Arcwood.

This client-facing role combines technical environmental knowledge with strong sales acumen to identify customer needs, craft tailored service solutions and manage the successful delivery of environmental programs. The Program Manager works closely with Marketing and Sales, Customer Experience, and Service Delivery teams to ensure high-quality, profitable, and compliant service execution.

Essential FunctionsRequirements:

SalesBusiness Development

• Develops the strategy and winning Product, Service Offer and creates a communication plan to clearly communicate to customers and field Sales teams the elements of our winning proposition
• Identifies, qualifies, and pursues new sales opportunities for EAP and lab packing services across industrial, academic, and government sectors
• Develops and delivers compelling proposals, pricing strategies, and agreements which clearly define our scope-of-work to address client needs and regulatory requirements
• Partners with the Sales team to prospect and expand relationships with existing accounts and increase share of wallet through consultative selling

Program ScopingSolution Design

• Leads their team, and has the capability to, conduct site assessments and client consultations to evaluate hazardous waste streams, chemical inventories, and compliance risks
• Translates technical findings into actionable EAPs and tailored lab packing programs that meet customer objectives and align with regulations
• Serves as a subject matter expert (SME) for internal and external stakeholders during the sales and onboarding process

Client Relationship Management

• Builds and maintains strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers, environmental managers, EHS professionals, and Procurement contacts
• Acts as the commercial liaison throughout the lifecycle of EAP and lab pack programs, ensuring expectations are met and customer satisfaction remains high
• Handles agreement renewals, scope changes, and upsell opportunities in collaboration with the Account Management team

Program OversightCoordination

• Leads a team of specialists that provide support to the existing Sales team across a portfolio of skill sets; enables specialists to prioritize their time to support from SME-only to full negotiation capabilities
• Creates professional proposals for new opportunities identified
• Consistently incorporates market feedback to both adjust and refine the go-to-market strategy

Project OversightCoordination

• Coordinates with Operations, Logistics, and Service Delivery teams to ensure seamless service execution aligned with customer expectations and agreements
• Tracks project milestones, ensure timely delivery, and supports issue resolution to maintain service quality and client trust
• Monitors profitability and cost efficiency in partnership with Finance and Operations

Market IntelligenceStrategy

• Stays informed on environmental regulations (RCRA, DOT, EPA), industry trends, and customer challenges to guide sales strategies and product positioning
• Represents the company at trade shows, customer meetings, webinars, and networking events to promote brand visibility and generate leads
• Provides feedback to leadership on market dynamics, customer demands, and competitive activity

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in environmental science, engineering, business, chemistry or related field (required)

Experience:

• 5+ years of experience in environmental services sales, hazardous waste management, or commercial program management; previous experience in a leadership role (required)
• Previous experience working with and knowledge of RCRA regulations, lab packing procedures, and environmental compliance frameworks (required)
• Previous experience in an onsite environmental business (preferred)

Competencies:

• Ability to develop customer relationships and deliver commercial results
• Strong presentation, proposal writing and communication skills
• Proficiency with CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite applications
• Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with internal and external customers
Regular and predictable attendance to perform the functions and requirements of this role
