Program Presenter

TRT World is looking for a Program Presenter in our Washington DC office. All applicants are required to submit a link to their showreel.

Job Description

• Present and narrate in-depth news and feature stories that explore social, political, and cultural issues in the United States,
• Conduct on-location reporting and interviews with a wide range of subjects, including politicians, experts, and community members,
• Develop, research, and write compelling story scripts, while maintaining high editorial standards and adhering to station policy, legal, and contractual guidelines,
• Collaborate with producers and editorial teams to plan story coverage and coordinate production logistics,
• Work flexible hours and travel within the U.S. to cover field stories for the channel’s programming.

Qualifications

• University degree in Social Sciences, Journalism, or a related field,
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Television, preferably in news, current affairs, or documentary-style reporting,
• Experience conducting interviews across a diverse range of subjects,
• Demonstrated ability to produce high-quality on-camera presentations and field reporting,
• Strong research, writing, and editorial skills, with excellent news judgment,
• Exceptional command of English for presenting,
• Confident and engaging on-camera presence with a clear speaking voice,
• Ability to ad-lib and handle live situations with professionalism,
• Willing to relocate to Washington DC
• Able to travel within the U.S. as required for on-location reporting.
