Modern Mountain Builders is looking for a highly organized and communicative Project Accounting Coordinator to support our residential construction team.
This role is focused on project accounting support, invoice management, procurement assistance, and financial organization. We’re looking for someone who enjoys keeping systems organized, has a strong attention to detail, and is comfortable working with numbers, budgets, and financial data.
The right person for this role is dependable, detail-oriented, and able to communicate clearly while managing a high volume of information accurately in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Enter vendor invoices and receipts into JobTread
- Match and reconcile transactions in QuickBooks Online
- Monitor and organize project-related financial documentation
- Enter invoices from vendor portals and emailed statements
- Prepare checks and assist with accounts payable
- Draft change orders and budget updates with PM approval
- Help track project costs, budgets, and spending activity
- Flag discrepancies or missing financial information for review
- Communicate with vendors and internal team members regarding invoices, receipts, and billing information
- Maintain accurate and organized financial records across multiple active projects
- Manage high-volume data entry tasks with accuracy and attention to detail
- Assist with procurement and material ordering
Qualifications
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Highly communicative and responsive
- Comfortable working with numbers, budgets, and financial systems
- Ability to manage repetitive tasks with accuracy and consistency
- Ability to prioritize and stay organized while handling multiple projects at once
- Experience with QuickBooks Online preferred
- Experience with JobTread or construction software is a plus
- Construction industry experience is helpful, but not required
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn

160/month stipend towards selected health insurance
