Project Administration Intern
IntePros is currently seeking a
Project Administration Intern
to support a leading company in the environmental engineering industry at their Pittsburgh, PA office. This internship is ideal for current college students or recent graduates pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field who are looking to gain hands-on experience in project coordination, billing, and accounting operations within a professional services environment.
In this role, you will support project teams with administrative and financial processes related to environmental engineering projects. The selected candidate should be detail-oriented, organized, adaptable, and eager to learn in a fast-paced professional environment.
Responsibilities

Assist with setting up and maintaining project information within the accounting system

Support review of contracts, budgets, payment terms, and project documentation

Help verify project billing information, rate schedules, and invoice details

Assist with employee expense report processing and data entry

Support project billing cycles by preparing reports, processing invoice edits, and organizing required documentation

Track project-related accounts receivable and accounts payable information
-
Generate reports and assist with monthly project accounting activities
-
Provide administrative support including filing, data entry, scheduling meetings, and coordinating travel arrangements

Collaborate with project managers, accounting staff, vendors, and clients as needed
Qualifications

Currently pursuing or recently completed an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field

Strong interest in project accounting, finance, or operations within a professional services environment

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel

Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail

Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Effective written and verbal communication skills

Ability to learn new systems and processes quickly

Previous internship, campus leadership, administrative, or accounting experience is a plus

Experience with accounting or ERP systems is preferred but not required
