Project Administrator (Part-Time, Remote)
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Project Administrator to support our excavation and construction operations team. This is a part-time, work-from-home position averaging 20–30 hours per week with flexible scheduling.
The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and comfortable handling administrative tasks, vendor communication, and project support in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist with preparing and submitting bids for excavation and construction projects
- Contact vendors and subcontractors to request pricing and quotes
- Organize and track project documents, estimates, and bid information
- Process and pay invoices in a timely manner
- Maintain spreadsheets, records, and project files
- Coordinate communication between vendors, contractors, and internal team members
- Monitor project timelines and assist with administrative follow-up
- Answer emails and phone calls related to projects and operations
- Perform other administrative duties as needed
Qualifications
- Previous administrative or project coordination experience preferred
- Experience in construction, excavation, or related industries is a plus
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent communication and follow-up abilities
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and email communication
- Ability to work independently and manage deadlines remotely
- Basic bookkeeping or invoicing experience preferred
