Job Summary

The Project Controls Manager (PCM) will lead a team of Project Controls (PJC) professionals on the Bowen Unit 7 & 8 Advanced Power Generation project, a 1x1 combined cycle facility producing 1,590 MW for Georgia Power. This role requires strong cost and schedule expertise, prior field experience, and the ability to influence internal and external stakeholders on complex, high-risk projects. The PCM will also support global collaboration and drive department initiatives to ensure successful project execution.


Job Description

  • 10+ years of relevant Cost Control or Planning & Scheduling experience
  • Lead and develop team on complex, high-risk projects
  • Collaborate as an integral part of the project management leadership team.
  • Identify and implement process improvements.
  • Lead project risk and change management initiatives.
  • Drive departmental initiatives to support organizational goals.
  • Ensure proper implementation of PJC procedures and tools.
  • Provide transparent project health visibility to the business.
  • Escalate project issues and provide effective resolutions.
  • Support administration of project reviews and follow-up on action items.
  • Manage team performance, providing timely feedback, coaching, and development opportunities.
  • Assist with succession planning and career advancement within the team.


Skills Required

  • Proven cost and schedule management experience.
  • Prior field experience strongly preferred.
  • Ability to positively influence stakeholders on complex projects.
  • Experience leading medium- to large-sized EPC projects in both Office and Field.


Education/Training/Certifications

  • 4 year Bachelor’s degree no Bachelor’s degree but with 12+ years of relevant experience.
  • Master’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management preferred.
