Job Summary

We are currently looking for a Junior Project Coordinator for Tetra Pak Egypt Ltd. The position will be based in Cairo, Egypt and will report to the Projects Coordination Leader. This position is responsible for managing the commercial and administrative aspects of projects. The main working tool is SAP R3. The position will work in a project organization where the rest of the project team is located in several places. Proactive approach, effective and timely communication with project managers, suppliers, customers, logistics companies and finance team at multiple locations will be key success factors.

What You Will Do

  • Issue purchase orders and manage logistics to get the goods from the supplier to the end customer.
  • Creating Sales orders, invoices and other documents for the goods and services, required by local legislation.
  • Material movement and service receipts in SAP
  • Coordination with project team, market companies and with customers.
  • Supporting the Project Manager with project control
  • Managing and leading commercial aspects of the contract and project.
  • Understanding the business scenario and ensuring project requirements are met at all time
  • Ensure process compliance and month-end accounting activities for projects.
  • Project cost and revenue accounting

We believe you have

  • University Degree or specialization in Supply Chain Management, or Logistics Background
  • 2+years of Sea Freight experience is essential for this role.
  • Preparing transport documentation.
  • Manage documentation flow. This includes bill of lading, packing lists, commercial invoices and certificates of origin and license.
  • Ship out of project cargo
  • Coordinate the collection/delivery process and manage this until the final destination
  • Experience dealing with both Imports and Exports is beneficial.
  • Knowledge of customs regulations would be desirable
  • Preparation of commercial documents, document legalization and management of Letter of Credits
  • English language proficiency
  • Good knowledge of shipping documentation and Letter Of Origin handling for the region
  • Good understanding and practical knowledge of contract accounting, purchase order and logistics is essential
  • Knowledge of SAP is an added advantage
