About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Project Coordinator to support the execution of complex projects across our operations. The ideal candidate will bring strong knowledge of project structures, cost estimation, cost control, accounting skills, and ERP (Odoo) systems to ensure smooth planning, accurate budgeting, monitoring, and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate daily project activities, schedules, and communications between internal teams and external stakeholders.

Assist in defining project scope, goals, deliverables, and timelines in line with organizational objectives.

Prepare and support cost estimates during tendering, planning, and project initiation stages.

Develop preliminary and detailed cost breakdowns, including materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractor services.

Benchmark costs using historical data and market analysis to improve accuracy of estimates.

Monitor project costs, cash flow, and budget utilization to ensure alignment with financial forecasts.

Identify cost variances and recommend corrective actions to maintain profitability.

Assist in preparing financial, accounting, and cost control reports for management and stakeholders.

Apply basic accounting principles to verify invoices, manage expense tracking, and support reconciliation of project accounts.

Ensure adherence to company policies, project documentation standards, and compliance requirements.

Utilize ERP systems (Odoo) to structure projects, track budgets, resources, and milestones.

Identify potential risks (technical, financial, or operational) and escalate issues in a timely manner.

Requirements

Minimum 3 years of proven experience as a Project Coordinator or similar role.

Strong knowledge of project structures, workflows, cost estimation, cost monitoring, and accounting practices.

Practical experience with ERP platforms (Odoo preferred).

Strong understanding of financial documentation, invoicing, and expense reconciliation.

Excellent organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.

Strong written and verbal communication abilities.

Ability to work effectively in fast-paced, cross-functional environments.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in the engineering, oil & gas, or construction sectors.

Knowledge of cost estimation methodologies, financial tracking, and accounting reporting within ERP systems.

Additional Information

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Preferred).

Willingness to travel: Up to 50% (Preferred).

Ability to commute/relocate: UAE – reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred).
