Project Coordinator
We are looking for a skilled and highly organized Project Coordinator to join our team. This role involves supporting the overseeing the day-to-day operations of sites, ensuring timely delivery of resources, managing logistics, and ensuring safety and quality standards are met.
Key Responsibilities: Project Coordinator
- Project Support & Coordination:
- Coordinate with the project manager to support site operations and ensure timely delivery of materials and resources as per project requirements.
- Manage the overall coordination of construction sites, ensuring day-to-day site requirements are met.
- Organize and schedule project meetings, ensuring proper documentation of site activities.
2 Driver and Site Coordination:
- Manage drivers and assign duties based on site requirements, ensuring smooth transportation logistics for personnel and materials.
- Schedule and plan the labor pick-up and drop-off timings in line with project requirements.
3 Procurement & Material Management:
- Assist in the procurement of materials, consumables, equipment, and subcontractors as required by the project.
- Manage the purchase of consumables from various suppliers based on site needs.
- Track and monitor the delivery of materials and equipment, ensuring timely project execution.
4 Company Vehicle and Machinery Management:
- Oversee and manage company vehicles, ensuring they are maintained and used efficiently.
- Coordinate the repair of machinery as needed and ensure follow-up to meet site demands.
5 Attendance and Labor Coordination:
- Follow up on attendance with supervisors to ensure accurate records.
- Maintain timecards and attendance records for labor.
- Resolve day-to-day problems on-site by coordinating with supervisors.
6 Safety & Quality Control:
- Ensure the activities adhere to local regulations and safety standards.
- Support site safety meetings and ensure all workers follow safety protocols.
- Provide necessary PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) for worker safety.
7 Site Stock and Inventory:
- Maintain monthly site stock records, ensuring necessary materials are available for uninterrupted site work.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Education: Diploma or bachelor’s degree.
- Experience: 1-2 years of UAE-based experience in the flooring, waterproofing, and concrete applications
- Software: Familiarity with construction project management software.
- Skills:
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work under pressure.
- In-depth knowledge of construction processes, safety regulations, and building codes.
