Job Title: Project Coordinator – Acoustics

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to support the planning, execution, and delivery of acoustic projects. The successful candidate will work closely with project managers, acoustic engineers, contractors, and clients to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and in compliance with acoustic performance standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate day-to-day activities across multiple acoustic projects
- Assist Project Managers with project scheduling, documentation, and progress tracking.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, including proposals, reports, drawings, specifications, and meeting minutes.
- Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors, and suppliers regarding project requirements and timelines.
- Track project milestones, deliverables, and deadlines; follow up on outstanding items.
- Support procurement of acoustic materials, testing equipment, and subcontracted services.
- Assist with site coordination for acoustic testing, measurements, and installations.
- Monitor project budgets, purchase orders, and invoicing in coordination with finance teams.
- Ensure compliance with relevant acoustic standards, regulations, and quality procedures.
- Support risk management by identifying potential scheduling or resource conflicts.
- Maintain organized project records and ensure version control of documents.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, Architecture, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in a project coordination or administrative role (experience in acoustics, construction, or engineering is an advantage).
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); familiarity with project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, Asana, or similar) is a plus.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills & Experience
- Basic understanding of acoustic principles, noise control, or sound insulation systems.
- Experience coordinating engineering or construction-related projects.
- Familiarity with acoustic testing, site measurements, or commissioning processes.
- Experience working with drawings, specifications, and technical reports.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
