Project Coordinator

Farouk Systems is a global leader in the professional beauty industry, renowned for its high-quality hair care products and innovative technologies. We are currently undertaking a significant and exciting initiative to upgrade our core SAP ECC 6.0 environment to SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud, thereby seamlessly integrating with our B2B and B2C customers.

Position Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Project Manager / Scrum Master to support project delivery and agile execution across cross-functional teams. This role is ideal for recent graduates or early-career professionals interested in developing expertise in project management and Agile methodologies.

The candidate will assist in planning, coordinating, and tracking projects while facilitating Scrum ceremonies and ensuring team alignment to deliver high-quality outcomes on time.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Management Support

  • Assist in creating project plans, timelines, and deliverables
  • Track project progress, risks, and dependencies
  • Maintain project documentation (status reports, schedules, RAID logs)
  • Support resource coordination and task assignments
  • Provide regular updates to stakeholders on project status

Scrum Master Responsibilities

Facilitate Agile ceremonies including:

  • Daily stand-ups
  • Sprint planning
  • Sprint reviews
  • Sprint retrospectives
  • Remove impediments to help the team stay productive
  • Promote Agile best practices and continuous improvement
  • Ensure adherence to Scrum principles and team norms
  • Support Product Owner in backlog grooming and prioritization

Team Coordination & Communication

  • Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams
  • Ensure clear communication of project goals, priorities, and milestones
  • Capture meeting minutes and follow up on action items
  • Foster collaboration across cross-functional teams

Reporting & Metrics

  • Track key Agile metrics (velocity, burndown charts, sprint progress)
  • Assist in generating reports for leadership
  • Identify trends and areas of improvement in team performance

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field

Core Skills

  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail

Technical & Methodology Skills

Basic understanding of:

  • Project management concepts (scope, schedule, risk)
  • Agile/Scrum framework

Familiarity with tools such as:

  • Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar tools
  • Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)

Soft Skills

  • Team-oriented mindset with a collaborative approach
  • Proactive and self-motivated attitude
  • Adaptability and willingness to learn
  • Strong interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications:

Internship or academic project experience in project management or Agile environments

Exposure to Agile certifications such as:

  • Certified ScrumMaster (CSM)
  • PMI-ACP (or coursework toward certification)
  • Basic knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC)
