Project Coordinator / Field Operations Manager- High End Residential Construction

We’re looking for a Project Coordinator / Field Operations Manager to be the right hand to our owner. This is the person who makes sure projects run smoothly — from scheduling subs, to keeping clients updated, to documenting finished work with photos, and sweeping sites if need be. You’ll be in the field, on site, and in constant communication with crews and clients.

Your job is simple:

• Make sure every Stratum Builders project looks great, runs on time, and keeps the client happy — without our owner having to be there.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily schedules for subcontractors and crews across multiple jobs.
• Communicate directly with homeowners, condo boards, and property managers.
• Manage punch lists, site walkthroughs, and quality control for luxury finishes.
• Track budgets, materials, and timelines.
• Take before/after photos for documentation and marketing.
• Handle warranty requests and maintenance scheduling.
• Be the face of Stratum Builders on job sites — calm, professional, and personable.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience on Chicago’s Northside (Lincoln Park, Lakeview, Bucktown, North Shore).
• Background in construction coordination, residential remodeling, or exterior trades.
• Understanding of high-end finishes and the expectations of luxury homeowners.
• Strong communication skills — you’re just as comfortable talking with a mason crew as you are with a condo board president.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and dependable.
• Driver’s license, clean record, ability to get around the city efficiently.

Compensation & Benefits

• $63,000–$76,000 base salary depending on experience.
