Projects Coordinator (Developer Side)

Job Purpose

The Projects Coordinator supports the Developer’s Projects Team in coordinating, monitoring, and reporting on multiple construction projects. The role ensures smooth coordination between consultants, contractors, authorities, and internal stakeholders to achieve project objectives related to time and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Project Coordination

  • Assist in coordinating all project activities from design development through construction and handover.
  • Act as a point of contact between the Developer, consultants, contractors, and authorities.
  • Track project milestones, deliverables, and deadlines and report deviations promptly.

Schedule & Progress Monitoring

  • Monitor master and detailed project schedules prepared by consultants/contractors.
  • Collect weekly and monthly progress reports and verify site progress against approved programs.
  • Highlight delays, risks, and potential impacts to the Projects Manager.

Documentation & Reporting

  • Maintain organized project records including correspondence, drawings, approvals, and reports.
  • Track submissions such as shop drawings, material approvals, method statements, and RFIs.
  • Prepare periodic project status reports for management review.

Authority & Compliance Support

  • Track statutory approvals, NOCs, permits, and ensure timely submissions and follow-ups.

Cost & Variation Tracking

  • Assist in monitoring variations, claims, and change requests.
  • Maintain logs for variations, VO status, and management approvals.
  • Support the Projects Manager in commercial and contractual coordination.

Quality, Safety & Handover Support

  • Assist in handover activities including snagging, close-out documentation, and authority completion certificates.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field.
  • 3–7 years of experience in construction projects, preferably on the Developer / Client side.
  • Experience coordinating high-rise, residential, commercial, or mixed-use developments is preferred.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong coordination, communication, and follow-up skills.
  • Good understanding of construction processes, design coordination, and approvals workflow.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously.
  • Detail-oriented with strong reporting and documentation skills.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Timely coordination and closure of project actions.
  • Accuracy and timeliness of reports and documentation.
  • Effective follow-up on consultant/contractor deliverables.
  • Contribution to meeting project schedule and quality objectives.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED6,000.00 per month
