Join our dynamic construction team as a Project Coordinator/Dispatcher, where your organization and construction knowledge will drive project success from start to finish. In this energetic role, you will coordinate project activities, manage schedules, and ensure seamless communication across teams. Your proactive approach will help keep projects on track, on budget, and aligned with client expectations.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily project activities, including scheduling and resource allocation, to ensure timely completion of construction phases
- Dispatch crews and subcontractors efficiently
- Maintain accurate project schedules using construction management software
- Collaborate with project managers to review contracts, scope of work, and project documentation to ensure compliance and clarity
- Track project progress through detailed reporting
- Support project management teams by facilitating communication between field teams and office staff to resolve issues
- Answer phone calls that come in for plumbing/hvac
- Call in markings, pull permits, call in inspections
- Invoice completed jobs
Skills
- Strong knowledge of construction estimating processes and contract administration
- Knowledge of HUD requirements
- Knowledge of JOC program
- Hands-on construction site experience to understand field operations and safety protocols
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively
- Ability to interpret contracts, drawings, and technical documents accurately
