WOLFFKRAN for Equipment is looking for a talented Project Cost Controller to join our team!


This is an exciting opportunity to work at the forefront of one of the giga projects in Saudi Arabia's .


Tasks

Job Description: Monitors and controls project costs, ensuring efficient project execution within budget, reports on the progress. Reporting to the Finance Director .



  • Monitors Project Expenditures against the Approved Budget and Identifies and Reports Variances.

  • Checks that time is properly accounted for in projects.

  • Produces the Percentage of Completion Sheets for all the projects and discuss with the Project Managers then reports them to the Accounting on a monthly basis to account for it.

  • Analyses Cost Variances and Provides Insights for Corrective Actions.

  • Prepares with the Delivery Director , Finance Director, Supply Chain Manager Commercial Manager Reports and Monthly Forecasts (Income, Cost, and Cash Flow).

  • Participates in Project Reviews and Provides Financial Updates to Project Stakeholders.

  • Records the minutes of the cost control and the PMO meetings.

  • Ensures Adherence to Cost Control Procedures for all Projects.

  • Reports to Managing Director and Finance Director on How Project Managers and the Operations Department has Achieved its KPIs.

  • Monitors the suppliers’ costs in relation with the P.O. issued and received invoices.

  • Helps in the Monthly and Quarterly closings and production of reports.


Authorities: Approves project purchase , expenses and amendments within the Business Plan and flags (and significant cost deviations requiring management intervention) to be sent for final Approval by the Company Board and MD.


Requirements

  • Degree Qualification or equivalent in Quantity Surveying

  • 10+ years’ experience of project cost controlling, change control and reporting in construction projects

  • Understanding and experience in forecasting, budget movements, commitments, EFC and cash flows

  • Ability to work with other multifunctional stakeholders i.e schedulers/planners, finance, risk

  • Good working knowledge of Excel essential, experience with SAP would be advantageous plus Odoo
