Project & Cost Engineer - Fit Outs

We are looking for an Engineer capable of managing both the pre-contract estimation phase and post-contract project delivery. You will be responsible for preparing accurate Bills of Quantities (BOQs), sourcing materials, and managing site execution to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest aesthetic standards.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Perform detailed quantity take-offs from 2D drawings and 3D designs, prepare comprehensive BOQs (Bill of Quantities) including material, labor, and overhead costs.

2. Prepare and submit formal tender documents and technical proposals to clients.

3. Develop and maintain project schedules to track milestones.

4. Supervise on-site teams and subcontractors to ensure work aligns with approved shop drawings.

5. Manage project documentation, including RFIs, site instructions, and progress reports.

6. Monitor site expenses against the estimated budget to prevent cost overruns.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Interior Design.
• Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD and Zoho Projects.
• Expertise in MS Excel for complex cost estimation and BOQ formatting.
• 3–5 years in the UAE market, specifically within Interior Fit-out
• Professional fluency in English; ability to draft clear, persuasive business emails and reports.
• A valid UAE Driving License is essential for site visits and vendor meetings.
