JD – Project Development Engineer
Department: Projects & Operations

1. Role Overview
The Project Development Engineer is responsible for site assessment, technical analysis, project planning, and execution support for waterproofing and building repair projects. The role ensures accurate diagnosis, customer coordination, material planning, and smooth implementation of Building Doctor solutions.
2. Key ResponsibilitiesA. Site Assessment & Technical Analysis
● Conduct detailed site inspections for leakage, seepage, structural cracks, and surface deterioration.
● Use the Site Engineer Kit Bag: measurement diary, moisture meter, hammer, nano sprayer, crack depth gauge, detectors, checklist sheets.
● Perform testing based on standard BD SOP (water pressure test, moisture analysis, RCC check, surface adhesion test).
● Document all site observations with photos, measurements, and technical notes.
● Identify root cause and recommend exact BD products and treatment methods.
B. Project & Client Coordination
● Coordinate with customers for visiting schedules and requirement gathering.
● Explain problem diagnosis and suitable BD treatment options to the client.
● Prepare and share quotations (WhatsApp/Email) as per SOP.
● Collect advance payment (50%) and initiate material request.
● Provide daily updates to customers regarding work progress.
● Collect final payment, hand over GST invoice, and issue warranty certificate.
C. Execution & Material Management
● Plan day-to-day site work as per BOQ and approved quotation.
● Prepare applicators with tools, materials, and chemical products for execution.
● Ensure BD product usage standards, dilution ratios, and equipment handling.
● Coordinate with the logistics/warehouse team for material procurement.
● Monitor applicators’ performance and ensure work quality as per BD policy.
D. Documentation & Reporting
● Update all enquiry details, site measurement reports, and client data in Zoho CRM.
● Maintain daily project status reports and timeline trackers.
● Create work completion photos and project documentation.
● Maintain stock usage records for each project.
E. Franchise Training & Support (If Applicable)
● Provide on-site technical training to franchise partners.
● Train franchise staff in:
○ Testing methods
○ Product knowledge
○ Diagnosis procedures
○ Customer handling
3. Required Skills
● Strong technical knowledge in construction, waterproofing, civil engineering basics.
● Hands-on experience in site handling, material estimation, and project coordination.
● Good communication skills (Tamil / English preferred).
● Ability to work on multiple sites and manage time effectively.
● Knowledge of ERP/CRM tools (Zoho preferred).
● Problem-solving and customer management skills.
4. Qualification & Experience
● Diploma / BE in Civil Engineering or related field.
● 1–3 years of experience in construction, waterproofing, or site engineering.
● Freshers with strong technical knowledge and interest may also apply (based on training assessment).

● Conversion rate from enquiry → order.
● Accuracy in diagnosis & report preparation.
● On-time project execution and customer satisfaction score.
● Daily reporting compliance in Zoho CRM.
● Material wastage control and cost management.

Pay: ₹275,994.07 - ₹1,000,000.95 per year
