Project Director – Interior Fit-Out

We are hiring a Project Director to oversee the complete delivery of high-end interior fit-out projects, from contract award to handover. The role requires full accountability for planning, commercial governance, quality, HSE compliance, stakeholder management, and the leadership of multidisciplinary project teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor Project Managers, Site Teams, QS, Design/Technical teams, and Planning Engineers.

• Approve project master programs, procurement strategies, manpower allocation, and cash flow forecasts.

• Review and validate IFC drawings, buildability studies, design coordination, and material submittals.

• Drive commercial performance, control variations/claims, support tender handover, and approve subcontractor evaluations.

• Represent the company with clients, consultants, suppliers, and authorities; resolve escalated contractual, commercial, or technical issues.

• Ensure full implementation of HSE policies, authority requirements, mock-ups, inspections, testing & commissioning, and final handover documentation.

• Oversee close-out, final accounts, and DLP commitments to ensure successful client sign-off.

Requirements

• Minimum 15+ years’ experience in Interior Fit-Out / Joinery / Design & Build construction.

• Proven leadership of large-scale commercial, corporate, hospitality, retail, or F&B projects.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or Interior Engineering (Mandatory).

• Strong commercial background in contracts, claims, project planning, and value engineering (PMP/RICS preferred).

• Excellent communication, negotiation, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
