Role Overview
The Project Document Controller will serve as the central gatekeeper for all project-related documentation. This role ensures accuracy, compliance, and timely distribution of information across stakeholders, while supporting the Project Manager in daily administrative and coordination tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Document Management
- Receive, quality-check, log, and distribute project documentation.
- Maintain a comprehensive digital library of project records.
- Act as the custodian of Dhofar Beach Resort LLC’s project documentation.
- Stakeholder Coordination
- Liaise with the Main Contractor, Engineering Consultant, and other stakeholders.
- Ensure timely updates and reporting on project documentation.
- Systems Administration
- Manage and administer project documentation within Aconex EDMS.
- Ensure compliance with project standards and protocols.
- Project Support
- Assist the Project Manager with day-to-day activities.
- Provide administrative support, including acting as the Project Manager’s private secretary when required.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in document control within construction or hospitality projects.
- Strong knowledge of EDMS platforms (Aconex preferred).
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills in English (Arabic proficiency is an advantage).
- Ability to work collaboratively with contractors, consultants, and internal teams.
