Project Engineer

Project Management

• Plan, coordinate, and supervise interior fitout and joinery projects from design development through installation
• Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring milestones are met within budget and timeline constraints
• Coordinate with architects, designers, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure seamless project execution
• Monitor project progress and implement corrective actions when necessary
• Prepare and present regular progress reports to management and clients

Technical Oversight

• Review and interpret architectural drawings, specifications, and design intent
• Conduct site surveys and prepare detailed technical assessments
• Oversee quality control processes and ensure compliance with building codes and safety regulations
• Resolve technical issues and provide engineering solutions for complex fitout challenges
• Manage shop drawing reviews and approval processes

Resource Management

• Coordinate procurement of materials, equipment, and specialized components
• Liaise with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials
• Optimize resource allocation and minimize waste
• Manage project budgets and track costs against approved estimates

Client Relations

• Serve as primary technical point of contact for clients during project execution
• Attend client meetings and provide technical guidance and updates
• Address client concerns and ensure satisfaction with deliverables
• Manage project variations and change orders

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar design software
• Strong understanding of construction methodologies, materials, and building codes
• Knowledge of joinery techniques, millwork, and specialized fitout systems
• Familiarity with project management software (MS Project, Primavera, or similar)
