Job Description
Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and execute fire and safety projects from initiation to completion.
- Review project drawings, specifications, and requirements.
- Supervise installation, testing, and commissioning of fire protection and safety systems.
- Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Coordinate with consultants, contractors, vendors, and internal teams.
- Prepare technical reports, project documentation, and progress updates.
- Ensure compliance with NFPA, civil defense, and local fire authority regulations.
- Provide technical support and resolve on-site issues during project execution.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Proven experience in fire and safety project execution.
- Strong knowledge of fire protection systems (sprinklers, hydrants, pumps, fire alarms, suppression systems).
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- Strong organizational and leadership skills.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Civil Defense-approved Engineer (preferred, not mandatory).
- PMP or equivalent project management certification.
- Knowledge of integrated building systems (BMS, access control, CCTV).
- Familiarity with AutoCAD or project scheduling tools.
- Office and site-based role across multiple project locations.
- May involve extended hours, weekend work, and emergency site visits.
