Position Overview:

We are looking for an experienced and highly organized Project Engineer with a background in architecture engineering to oversee the operations and project execution within our interior design firm. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of design and construction processes, and the ability to manage both people and projects efficiently.

This role combines responsibilities in office management, team leadership, and end-to-end project coordination. Candidates must have a valid license and their own vehicle for site visits and client meetings.

Key Responsibilities:

Office & Team Management

Oversee day-to-day office operations ensuring efficiency and structure.

Lead and manage the design team to ensure accountability and performance.

Maintain a collaborative, productive, and professional work environment.

Handle procurement, vendor coordination, and general administrative oversight.

Project Management

Plan and manage interior design projects from concept through completion.

Create and maintain detailed project schedules and timelines.

Allocate tasks and manage team workload according to project phases.

Monitor project budgets, timelines, and deliverables.

Client & Stakeholder Engagement

Organize and lead client meetings, design presentations, and project briefings.

Serve as the main point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle.

Coordinate approvals, manage expectations, and ensure client satisfaction.

Reporting & Documentation

Prepare daily and weekly project reports for management and clients.

Maintain accurate records of project milestones, site visits, and communications.

Identify risks, delays, or design issues and communicate timely solutions.

Site Visits & Supervision

Conduct site visits to oversee execution, check alignment with design intent, and resolve issues.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Architecture Engineering or a related field (required).

10–15 years of proven experience in project management and office management within the interior design, architecture, or construction industry.

Strong knowledge of interior design processes, construction techniques, materials, and codes.

Proven ability to manage design teams, timelines, and budgets.

Proficient in MS Office, project management software (Asana, MS Project), and familiarity with design software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, etc.).

Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.

Valid driving license and own vehicle (required).

PMP certification or equivalent is a plus.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract
