1. Prepare Comprehensive Project Estimates: Analyze architectural drawings, specifications, addenda, and bid documents to develop accurate material takeoffs, labor assessments, and cost proposals for commercial glazing, veneer, and structural glass projects.

2. Support Pre-Construction Planning: Collaborate with project managers, estimators, architects, engineers, and clients to clarify scope, validate design intent, and align project budgets, schedules, and technical requirements.

3. Facilitate Effective Project Coordination: Serve as a central communication point among internal teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and design professionals to ensure project milestones, submittals, RFIs, and material approvals progress efficiently.

4. Manage Procurement and Buyouts: Perform vendor outreach, obtain competitive pricing, evaluate supplier proposals, and execute material buyouts to ensure compliance with project specifications, cost control targets, and established construction timelines.

5. Oversee Submittals and Documentation: Prepare, review, and track technical submittals, shop drawings, product data, and samples; ensure timely distribution and maintain organized project documentation in accordance with company standards.

6. Monitor Project Progress and Field Needs: Assist project managers with schedule tracking, material delivery coordination, and field support to proactively address installation issues, sequencing challenges, or design clarifications.

7. Ensure Compliance with Safety and Quality Standards: Support quality control processes, verify that installed glazing and veneer systems meet project specifications, and promote adherence to safety protocols on job sites.

8. Contribute to Project Closeout: Help compile warranty packages, as-built documentation, and final material records; support successful project turnover to clients and building owners.

Job Requirements:

A bachelor's degree in engineering or construction management is required, plus five (5) years of experience as engineer, construction manager, building inspector, or similar; or in the alternative a master’s degree plus 6 months of experience.
