Job role - Project Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in project planning, scheduling, and progress tracking.
• Coordinate with Design, Purchase, Stores, Quality, and Production teams.
• Support mechanical/electrical assembly and commissioning on the shop floor.
• Monitor daily progress and ensure adherence to safety and 5S standards.
• Participate in customer meetings, design reviews, and technical discussions.
• Prepare MOMs, project reports, and track action items.
• Follow up with vendors for bought-out parts and subcontracted activities.
• Support testing, trials, and machine handover to customers.
• Assist in documentation such as BOMs, layouts, manuals, and checklists.

Required Skills

• Basic knowledge of automation systems, SPMs, or machine building.
• Understanding of mechanical assemblies, drawings, and BOMs.
• Exposure to pneumatics, hydraulics, sensors, or basic PLC concepts is an advantage.
• Good coordination, communication, and follow-up skills.
• Willingness to work on the shop floor and at customer sites if required.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• 1 - 3 yrs Experience in automation, machine manufacturing, or engineering projects.
• Hands-on approach with problem-solving mindset.
• Freshers with strong technical fundamentals are welcome.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
