Project Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced civil project Engineer to oversee and manage construction projects from planning through to completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering and project management, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and oversee all phases of civil construction projects.
• Develop project schedules, budgets, and work plans in coordination with senior management and clients.
• Supervise site activities to ensure compliance with safety, quality, and design specifications.
• Manage procurement of materials, equipment, and subcontractor services.
• Monitor project progress and prepare regular status reports for clients and management.
• Conduct site meetings and coordinate between engineers, architects, contractors, and other stakeholders.
• Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, building codes, and environmental standards.
• Review and approve technical drawings, change orders, and project documentation.
• Lead project closeout activities, including inspections, handovers, and final reporting.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field.
• Proven experience (typically 8-10+ years) in managing civil or infrastructure projects.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and standards.
• Proficient in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, AutoCAD).
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and quality control procedures.
• PMP or equivalent project management certification (preferred but not required).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per year
