Project Engineer

Job role:

1. Project Planning and Coordination

o Prepare project plans, schedules, and budgets in coordination with project managers.

o Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.

o Ensure that project milestones and deadlines are met.

2. Technical Oversight

o Review and approve technical drawings, specifications, and documentation.

o Provide engineering solutions to site issues and ensure technical compliance with standards and regulations.

o Supervise design modifications and suggest improvements as needed.

3. Site Supervision

o Oversee daily construction/site activities and ensure work is progressing according to approved plans and specifications.

o Monitor work quality and enforce safety standards.

o Ensure all site works are carried out safely as per health and safety regulations.

4. Team Management

o Lead and guide junior engineers, supervisors, and site staff.

o Provide technical mentorship and ensure team collaboration for efficient execution.

5. Progress Monitoring and Reporting

o Track project progress and prepare regular reports for management.

o Identify potential delays and develop mitigation plans.

o Attend project meetings and represent the engineering team.

6. Cost and Quality Control

o Assist in cost estimation and resource planning.

o Monitor project expenses to avoid cost overruns.

o Ensure high-quality standards are maintained throughout the project lifecycle.

7. Client and Stakeholder Communication

o Maintain effective communication with clients, consultants, and authorities.

o Address client concerns and ensure their requirements are met.

8. Documentation and Compliance

o Maintain proper records of engineering activities, drawings, and approvals.

o Ensure compliance with local regulations, codes, and company policies.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering .

2. ⁠Min 6 years of experience with background on high rise projects in UAE.
