Project Engineer

Job Purpose:

As a Project Engineer, you will be working as part of the team to fabricate and install complex FEC projects for the themed entertainment industry. You will be part of a team of talented engineers working together to integrate technologies from multi-channel projection systems to immersive audio systems. The projects that you will be a key part of will be for themed entertainment clients on a global basis.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervising
• The fabrication of AV racks and enclosures to the highest of standards for Factory Acceptance Testing and installation into site
• Building mock-ups and scale prototypes of complex and cutting-edge system elements for client review and inspection
• Installing Audio Visual equipment; such as projectors, loudspeakers, LED video walls, flat-panel displays and AV racks into project sites around the world
• Interpreting and reading technical drawings from the design team in order to build system components accurately and to specification
• Contributing to the creation of technical documents during the design stage including facility impact and connection points
• Championing safety on-site and in our facilities, ensuring we are always designing, delivering and operating in the safest way possible
• Completing and finishing technical documentation for client handover, including as-installed adjustments to drawings packages and associated technical documents
• Mentoring and developing colleagues around you whilst keeping your own learning ahead of the curve
• Working across multiple time zones to ensure work is delivered in the most effective way, liaising across countries and cultures
• Build effective relationships with partners, suppliers and clients that enable Holovis to leverage additional opportunities

Your Qualifications and Expertise

• Possess a good technical understanding of some or all the following areas; MEP, large format LED, immersive audio and AV show control systems
• Hold a history of contribution to successful MEP projects
• Related engineering degree or professional equivalent
