Project Engineer

Position: Project Engineer (Building Project)

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• 7–10 years of proven experience in project engineering or construction management of building projects (structural steel/RC, envelope, base-build interiors, and MEP interfaces).
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and HSE standards.
• Proficient in project management software/tools (e.g., Primavera/MS Project, Excel, AutoCAD).
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple zones/trades simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage building construction from inception to completion: substructure, superstructure (RC/steel), façade/roofing, base-build interiors, external works.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and stakeholders to meet program, cost, quality, and HSE targets.
• Develop and maintain project schedules and budgets; track procurement and long-lead items (façade, elevators/escalators, switchgear, AHUs).
• Conduct site inspections, implement ITPs/QA/QC, and ensure compliance with safety regulations and authority requirements.
• Resolve issues/conflicts, manage risks, and drive recovery plans to protect milestones and handover.
