We're Hiring | Project Engineer – Fit-Out (Residential & Commercial) Qatar

Role Overview: As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for managing the full project lifecycle — from planning and execution to handover. You will act as the key link between the office and the site, ensuring everything runs smoothly, on time, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee fit-out projects from start to finish (residential & commercial)
• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules & execution plans
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, suppliers & subcontractors
• Review drawings, shop drawings, submittals & material approvals
• Handle RFIs, site instructions, variations & change orders
• Prepare and submit progress reports, MOM & project documentation
• Monitor project budget and flag any cost overruns early
• Ensure work is executed as per contract scope, specs & quality standards
• Conduct and lead project meetings with all stakeholders
• Coordinate with the procurement team for material and equipment delivery
• Track project milestones and ensure on-time delivery
• Support the site team and resolve technical issues on the ground
• Prepare handover documents and ensure smooth project closeout

Requirements:

• Arabic nationality
• Minimum 5–7 years of experience in Qatar — specifically in fit-out projects
• Strong knowledge of residential & commercial interior fit-out
• Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field
• Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Project & MS Office
• Solid understanding of contracts, BOQ & cost control
• Excellent communication skills in Arabic & English
• Strong leadership, negotiation & problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality & deadlines
