Project Engineer

About the Role

Enverse is hiring a Project Engineer to deliver Innovate UK–funded energy audits for manufacturing sites. You’ll run the full cycle: target and contact factories, lead scoping calls, carry out on-site audits, analyse data, and deliver clear, quantified recommendations to cut kWh, £ and CO₂e. The role is London-based or fully remote. You’ll work closely with the CEO.

You will help execute two industrial energy analysis projects. This is a hands-on technical/consulting role that works directly with end users to deliver a scalable, cloud-based application that optimises on-site energy consumption. You’ll gather data, assess major loads (e.g., boilers/steam, process heat, HVAC/chillers, compressed air), build baselines, and present practical savings measures.

We’re a startup—fast-moving, practical, and outcomes-driven. Strong mechanical fundamentals and a willingness to talk to customers, visit plants, and learn quickly are essential. Also, please do not treat this as a set-in-stone job description, things change quickly in the company.

Our projects tend to be dynamic and challenging - be prepared to have your engineering knowledge pushed and boundary challenged. You will be expected to execute tasks beyond your engineering expertise and these skills will be tested during the interview.

We are not able to sponsor visa sponsorship and would only accept applicants with rights to work in the UK.

You'll work directly under the CEO.
