Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Project Engineer – Civil to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will have 8–10 years of proven experience in the UAE construction industry, with strong expertise in managing civil works projects, coordinating with stakeholders, and ensuring timely and cost-effective project delivery while maintaining high safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and supervise civil construction projects from initiation to completion.
• Review project drawings, specifications, and technical documents to ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Monitor construction progress and ensure adherence to project schedules and budgets.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution.
• Manage site activities, including workforce supervision and resource allocation.
• Ensure all works comply with UAE regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
• Prepare progress reports, technical documents, and project updates for management.
• Identify potential risks and implement corrective actions to avoid delays and cost overruns.
• Conduct inspections and quality checks to ensure work meets the required standards.
• Support procurement activities by reviewing materials and vendor proposals.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 8–10 years of relevant experience in civil construction projects, with mandatory UAE experience.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and UAE building regulations.
• Proven experience in handling large-scale civil works projects (roads, infrastructure, buildings, etc.).
• Proficiency in project management tools and software (e.g., AutoCAD, Primavera, MS Project).
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
• Strong problem-solving and leadership abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working on Abu Dhabi-based projects.
• Knowledge of ADNOC / municipal project requirements (if applicable).
• PMP certification or equivalent is an advantage.
