Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and experienced Project Engineer – Architectural Metal & Structural Steel to manage and coordinate fabrication and site installation works for architectural metal and structural steel projects across the UAE.

The ideal candidate will possess strong technical knowledge of steel structures, architectural metal systems, and installation methodologies, along with excellent coordination skills to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with quality and safety standards.

Key ResponsibilitiesProject Execution

• Supervise and manage fabrication and installation of architectural metal and structural steel works.
• Monitor site activities, manpower deployment, and material availability to maintain project schedules.
• Ensure works are executed according to approved drawings, project specifications, and contractual requirements.

Technical Coordination

• Review and verify shop drawings, fabrication drawings, material submittals, and method statements.
• Coordinate with design/drafting teams, fabrication workshops, procurement departments, and site teams.
• Identify and resolve technical issues, design conflicts, and site coordination challenges.

Planning & Documentation

• Prepare and submit Method Statements (MS), Logistics Plans, Lifting Plans, and technical documentation for consultant/client approval.
• Maintain daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports and accurate project documentation.
• Conduct site measurements for billing, invoicing, and material reconciliation.

Quality & Safety

• Ensure compliance with QA/QC procedures and HSE regulations across project sites.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and clients for inspections and approvals.
• Monitor fabrication and installation works to maintain high standards of workmanship.

Project Support

• Assist the Project Manager with project planning, budgeting, cost control, and variation management.
• Support project close-out activities and final documentation.

Requirements & QualificationsEducation

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering.

Experience

• 3–8 years of experience in architectural metal fabrication and structural steel projects.
• Experience working with UAE consultants, contractors, and fabrication workshops.

Technical Knowledge

Strong understanding of:

• Structural steel fabrication and erection
• Architectural metal works (handrails, balustrades, pergolas, cladding frames, decorative metal, etc.)
• Welding techniques, bolted connections, and installation methodologies
• Ability to read and interpret structural drawings and shop drawings accurately.

Software Skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office.
• Knowledge of Tekla Structures is an added advantage.

Other Requirements

• Valid UAE Driving License – Mandatory.
• Strong leadership, coordination, and communication skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and technical decision-making abilities.

Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED7,000.00 per month
