Job Summary

We are looking for a proactive and experienced Project Engineer to manage and coordinate architectural metal and structural steel fabrication and installation works. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge of steel structures and architectural metal systems, along with excellent coordination skills to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise fabrication and installation of architectural metal and structural steel works.
• Review approved shop drawings, fabrication drawings, material submittals, and method statements.
• Coordinate with the design/drafting team, fabrication workshop, procurement, and site teams.
• Monitor project schedules, manpower allocation, and material availability.
• Prepare and submit Method Statements, Logistic Plans, and Lifting Plans for consultant/client approval in line with project specifications and HSE standards.
• Ensure all works are executed according to approved drawings, project specifications, and contract requirements.
• Liaise with consultants, main contractors, and clients for inspections, approvals, and technical clarifications.
• Identify and resolve technical, design, and site coordination issues.
• Ensure compliance with QA/QC procedures and HSE regulations.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports and maintain proper documentation.
• Support the Project Manager in planning, cost control, variations, and project close-out.
• Conduct site measurements for billing and material reconciliation.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil, Structural, or Mechanical Engineering.
• 3–8 years of experience in architectural metal fabrication and structural steel projects.
• Strong knowledge of:
• Structural steel fabrication and erection
• Architectural metal works (handrails, balustrades, pergolas, cladding frames, decorative metal, etc.)
• Welding, bolted connections, and installation methods
• Ability to read and interpret structural and shop drawings.
• Valid UAE Driving License (Mandatory).
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office.
• Knowledge of Tekla Structures is an advantage.
• Experience working with UAE consultants and main contractors.
• Strong leadership, coordination, and communication skills.

Preferred Candidate

• Experience managing site execution and workshop coordination.
• Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: AED6,000.00 - AED8,000.00 per month
