Position Overview:

The Project Engineer will support the planning, execution, and delivery of high-rise building projects in Dubai. The role involves coordination between site teams, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure work is completed on time, within budget, and to required quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities 1

. Project Execution & Coordination Assist in managing daily site operations for high-rise construction (e.g., towers 20+ floors). Coordinate with site engineers, foremen, and subcontractors to monitor progress. Ensure construction activities follow approved drawings, specifications, and project schedules. Support the Project Manager in execution plans, sequencing, and resource allocation.

2. High-Rise Structural Works Oversee structural works, especially slab cycles, core walls, columns, shear walls, and post-tensioning. Coordinate formwork systems (e.g., PERI, DOKA, jumpform/climbing form). Monitor concrete pouring, curing, and reinforcement works.

3. Planning & Scheduling Assist in preparing and tracking construction programs (Primavera P6/MS Project). Report delays, risks, and critical path issues to the Project Manager. Ensure milestone achievements (e.g., floor cycle targets).

4. Quality Assurance & Compliance Ensure all construction activities align with Dubai Municipality, Trakhees, and project specifications. Prepare and review inspection requests (IRs), material approvals (MARs), and method statements (MS). Liaise with consultants for inspections and approvals.

5. Documentation & Reporting Maintain daily site progress reports, RFI logs, and site correspondence. Prepare weekly/monthly progress reports with updates on cost, manpower, and schedule. Track material requests, procurement status, and subcontractor performance.

6. Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) Enforce safety standards in coordination with the HSE team. Monitor work permits, site safety compliance, and toolbox talks. Report hazards and ensure corrective actions are taken promptly.

7. Coordination with MEP & Finishes Teams Interface with MEP engineers to ensure structural and services coordination. Monitor blockwork, façade, and finishing progress in later stages.
