Roles & Responsibilities

Summary
The Project Engineer – Civil will support the successful execution of a landmark mall project in Dubai, ensuring all civil works are delivered to the highest standards of quality, safety, and compliance. The role requires strong exposure to large-scale projects, with hands-on experience from design coordination to project handover within the UAE construction environment.

• Manage day-to-day site execution of civil works in line with project specifications, drawings, and timelines.
• Coordinate with consultants, designers, and subcontractors to ensure seamless integration of design and construction activities.
• Review IFC drawings, shop drawings, and material submittals for compliance with project requirements.
• Monitor project progress and support the Project Manager in preparing weekly and monthly reports.
• Ensure adherence to Dubai authority regulations, including Dubai Municipality, Trakhees, DCD, and RTA.
• Conduct site inspections to verify quality, safety, and workmanship standards.
• Support testing, commissioning, and handover activities, ensuring all documentation is complete and accurate.
• Identify technical issues and propose practical engineering solutions.
• Ensure compliance with project QA/QC procedures and maintain accurate site records.
• Coordinate with MEP teams to ensure smooth interface between civil and MEP works.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university.
• Minimum 5–8 years of experience in civil engineering roles within the UAE.
• Proven experience in large-scale commercial or mall projects from design stage to final handover.
• Strong understanding of Dubai authority approvals and local construction regulations.
• Hands-on experience in design coordination, structural works, finishing, and façade interfaces.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills with multicultural teams.
• Proficiency in project documentation, reporting, and site management tools.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet fast-track project deadlines.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED12,000.00 - AED18,000.00 per month
