Project Engineer: Civil Projects

A leading construction company in the UAE is seeking a qualified and experienced Project Engineer to join our team for a prestigious high-rise building project.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
• Minimum 8 years of experience in high-rise building construction / Group of Villas Project
• Experience with main contractors in the UAE or GCC
• Strong knowledge of structural, architectural, and MEP coordination
• Familiar with UAE construction regulations, quality standards, and authority approvals
• Experience in project documentation, BOQ basics, measurements, and site quantities
• Proficient in preparing daily and weekly progress reports
• Ability to manage site technical issues and ensure timely resolution
• UAE experience preferred; GCC experience will be an added advantage

Skills

• Strong knowledge of building construction execution (main contractor scope)
• Ability to read, interpret, and coordinate IFC and shop drawings
• Planning and monitoring daily and weekly site activities
• Effective coordination with consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers
• Manpower and material coordination
• Monitoring project schedules and progress tracking
• Ensuring quality control and HSE compliance on site
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills

Qualification:

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.

Professional Engineer registration or relevant certifications are an advantage.

5–10 years of experience in civil/building construction projects.

Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and industry standards.

Familiarity with local building regulations and authority requirements.
