Project Engineer cum QS

We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer cum Quantity Surveyor (QS) to support our road and infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate must have strong technical expertise in both project execution and quantity surveying, with extensive experience in road works. Candidates currently available in Qatar with transferable visas and UPDA certification will be given priority.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily project activities and ensure work is carried out as per drawings, specifications, and project schedules.
• Prepare accurate quantity take-offs, BOQs, cost estimates, and material requirements.
• Conduct site measurements and verify subcontractor work quantities and invoices.
• Coordinate with consultants, clients, and subcontractors for inspections, approvals, and project progress.
• Assist with method statements, technical documentation, shop drawings, and project reporting.
• Monitor project milestones, site productivity, and progress to ensure timely completion.
• Maintain project documentation, logs, correspondence, and reports.
• Support procurement with material requests, evaluations, and technical clarifications.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and quality control procedures.

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years’ experience in Road Works (Mandatory).
• Relevant Engineering Degree (Civil Engineering preferred).
• Strong experience in Quantity Surveying + Project Engineering.
• Qatari Driving License – Mandatory.
• UPDA Certification preferred
• Must be available in Qatar.
• Transferable Visa / NOC preferred.
• Immediate joiners will be given priority.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and QS/estimation software.
• Strong communication, coordination, and reporting skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
