Project Engineer - Dubai - High Rise Building

Key Responsibilities1. Technical & Engineering Coordination

• Review IFC drawings, shop drawings, and material submittals for compliance with project specifications and UAE building codes.
• Coordinate with structural, architectural, MEP, and façade teams to resolve design discrepancies.
• Assist in preparing method statements, engineering proposals, and construction technical documents.

2. Site Execution & Supervision

• Monitor daily site activities to ensure adherence to approved drawings, construction schedules, and safety standards.
• Provide technical guidance to site engineers, supervisors, and subcontractors.
• Coordinate with subcontractors for timely execution of structural, MEP, and finishing works.

3. Quality Assurance & Compliance

• Ensure workmanship meets quality standards set by the consultant and client.
• Conduct inspections and support QA/QC teams in raising IRs, MIRs, and closing NCRs.
• Ensure compliance with Dubai Municipality (DM), Trakhees, DDA, and EHS regulations.

4. Planning & Progress Monitoring

• Assist in developing project schedules, look-ahead plans, and manpower/material forecasts.
• Track progress vs. baseline and report delays or risks to the Project Manager.
• Support in preparing daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.

5. Procurement & Material Management

• Identify material requirements according to project specifications.
• Coordinate with procurement team for timely material delivery.
• Verify delivered materials meet approved standards.

6. Stakeholder Coordination

• Liaise with consultants, clients, main contractors, subcontractors, and authorities.
• Attend technical, progress, and coordination meetings.
• Support Project Manager in client communications and documentation.

7. Health, Safety & Environment

• Ensure full adherence to site safety procedures and HSE regulations.
• Support HSE team to implement safety plans and address site hazards.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 3–8+ years of experience in high-rise building construction (Dubai/GCC experience preferred).
• Strong knowledge of concrete works, MEP coordination, façades, and finishing.
• Familiarity with DM, DCD, Trakhees, and other UAE authority regulations.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Project/Primavera, and MS Office.
• Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
