Project Engineer (Electrical)

Location: Clifton, Karachi

Working Days: Monday to Friday

Timings: 9:00am - 5:30pm

Salary Range: 60k - 120k

Experience Required: 0-1 year

Must have certification from PEC

Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced/fresh Project Engineer (Electrical) to join our Power Systems Execution team. The role involves overseeing the execution of electrical projects, ensuring alignment with time, cost, and quality requirements, and managing Schneider Electric product-specific designs and installations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and analyze design submittals for LV/MV systems specific to Schneider Electric products.
• Coordinate with Project Manager, engineering, procurement, and supply chain teams for technical documentation, material ordering, and timely delivery.
• Liaise with contractors and support site execution teams during design, installation, and commissioning phases.
• Handle technical queries, prepare BOQs, read schematics, and ensure proper handover of engineering packages to site teams.
• Support cost control, quality assurance, risk management, and ensure compliance with EHS and Schneider standards.
• Track project progress, highlight issues, and assist in ensuring projects are completed within budget and timelines.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from a reputable university.
• Knowledge / 1 year of experience in electrical project execution, preferably in substation/distribution projects (up to 11kV).
• Strong understanding of project phases (initiation to closing) and technical documentation.
• Proficient in MS Office; familiarity with SAP ERP, AutoCAD, MS Project is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and fluency in English (verbal & written).

Pay: Rs60,000.00 - Rs120,000.00 per month
